It sounds like you likely just need to remove a washer or two from the head of your Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System # HT32218. Installing all 4 washers is a good starting point for most trailers but many setups will require you to use less in order to prevent the types of issues you are having.
Try just removing one of the washers first to see if this loosens up the spring bars enough for normal operation and backs the head off so that it doesn't come into contact with the... view full answer...
You're going to want to use 10 AWG wire # 10-1-1 with your Go Power Automatic Transfer Switch - Plastic Case # 34264403.
Since this is a 30 amp ATS 10 AWG will be plenty, but if you were to use a 50 amp switch you'd want to beef that wire up to 6 AWG. view full answer...

Yes, you can replace your current water heater with a tankless Furrion like the part # FR48SR that you referenced. This will give you access to hot water at all times without having to worry about running the tank out. view full answer...
What I think you are saying is that you want to replace a WF-8540 Series converter in a 2020 Jayco Jay Feather Travel Trailer with 30-Amp service.
For a 45-Amp charger, my recommendation is the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger, # PD4045KA. If you want a 60-Amp charger, select # PD4060K. Each option works with lithium-ion, flooded lead acid, AGM, and gel batteries. view full answer...
You will need the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA for your Lippert axle on your 2018 Jayco Jay Feather 29QB travel trailer. These are sold as a set with one Left # AKEBRK-35L-SA and one Right # AKEBRK-35R-SA assembly. So be sure to get 2 kits for both axles on your Jayco. view full answer...
The best way to determine the correct replacement pitch arm for a Solera awning would be measuring. The part # LC74VR measures 78", the part # LC67VR measures 63", and the part # LC375994 measures 69". If you have another length please let me know what that is and I will see if we have another replacement for this. view full answer...
Thank you for giving us a chance to help you out with the brakes on your travel trailer, and thanks also to your friend who steered you our way.
We do sell all sorts of individual brake replacement parts such as shoes, magnets, springs, etc but most often our customers prefer to replace their complete electric drum brake assemblies. The cost of a complete new electric drum brake is often not much more than the cost of even just a few individual parts. Replacing the complete brake is MUCH... view full answer...
The # L11390 LMX Red grease is exactly what I'd recommend. It's what our installation crews typically use here at etrailer.com HQ.
I contacted Jayco regarding replacement grease seals. They were able to tell me that their part number for replacement seals is 0713491, but they couldn't provide the inner or outer diameter. If you'd prefer not to obtain them from Jayco, I can determine which ones you need if you could reply with the reference number from the inner wheel bearing and the... view full answer...
There are a couple weight distribution shanks you can use to replace your Reese 54990, though I was unable to find out exactly how much drop this shank had. But the two options that fit a 2" trailer hitch receiver and have the most drop for a trunnion bar system are:
- 15-3/4" Maximum Drop: Curt Weight Distribution Shank # C17125
- 9" Maximum Drop: Curt Weight Distribution Shank # C17124 view full answer...
According to our research you'll need the 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter # FR87PR for the Haloview to work properly with your 2022 GMC Sierra, we haven't tested this out on our end as of yet, but from what I found online this looks to be a universal problem no matter what camera system you're using.
Everything will function properly with the daisy-chain setup you mentioned, but I definitely get where you're coming from. If you want to avoid 2 adapters sitting at the back of your GMC Sierra... view full answer...
Since your 3,500 lb trailer axle leaf springs are flat and measure 26-1/8 inches the correct replacement would be the # e54SR which measures 25-1/8 inches. view full answer...
The Curt hitch part # 13703 is what you are looking for as this fits the standard trailer frame styles as long as they are between 22 and 72 inches apart. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well. view full answer...
Thanks for the picture of your trailer's coupler, from that I can tell you have an underslung coupler which his what the AMP Lock Coupler lock part # AMP56FR is designed to fit. It also works with the flange width you mentioned as well.
This is a harder to defeat coupler lock that would work well for you. I would recommend it highly because of that. view full answer...
We have two A-Frame travel trailer mounts, and one does not work for your set up. However, the Stromberg Carlson # CC-275 carrier lets you mount a typical bike rack over the propane and batteries on the front A-frame of your trailer. The carrier will support a bike rack and bikes up to 100 pounds. Bike rack must be rated for use behind an RV like the Swagman # S64152-2. view full answer...
Hi Sandra; does your Jayco 23B have standard, round axles (we have no way of knowing which axles any trailer has, which is why I ask)? Assuming it does, and and the axles are 3,500 lb, 2-3/8" diameter axles you can use the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00.
This puts the trailer's leaf springs to the top of the axle and will raise it the same amount as your axle's diameter plus the height of the leaf spring pack. Another option, even if your leaf springs are... view full answer...
You will want to inflate the tires to the max psi that the tires have listed on the sidewall. Trailer tires always need to be inflated to their max pressure to ensure you get their full capacity whereas the max psi rating for a wheel is just how much in total it can handle. You want to inflate them when the tires are "cold" or before you've gotten them warm from the friction of them being on the road. view full answer...
Actually, using the # 37220BL tank holder which is purposely designed to hold two 20lb tanks on the trailer tongue would likely be a better option.
The Rhino Rack # RRRGBH4 is designed to mount to a roof rack mounted platform, and does include installation instructions, which I've linked for you. The tank holder is designed to clamp to a slat on the platform that's about 3/4 of an inch thick by 6-1/2 inches wide. I'm assuming you'd mount this to the trailer tongue. In order to do this,... view full answer...
Matt, I'd say yes # UF48-979002 would be a bit overkill. Plus, you only get two jacks in that kit and the other kit # TJSCHD-24-4 you get 4 which is going to stabilize your trailer better.
The 10K capacity that # TJSCHD-24-4 has is going to be plenty in my opinion, especially since your trailer only weighs 3,500 lbs. view full answer...
I wouldn't recommend mounting the # CTEK56382 where it would get direct rainfall on it, but the cap is designed to be weatherproof and keep rain out so you'd be fine doing what you are looking to do. view full answer...
